Palettal Prose: Here Mother Speak

I have heard Mother speaking to us

When Moon dogs channel the Sun

Stars kiss the Earth

Oceans make Waves

Winds stir the Trees

Anima Eyes look into our Eyes

Fire lashes her sharp tongue Snow and ice crackle

Water flows

But how can we hear her speaking

When we have

Three TVs going 12 hours a day

Two computers going 24 hours a day

Cell phones attached to our bodies ringing incessantly

Cars with windows rolled up that we drive unnecessarily

Ear buds stuffed in our heads

Radio waves, video waves, cell phone waves, satellite waves

Filling the air

How can we hear her?

How do you hear her?
